Location: Ampleforth Abbey
Journey Home Autumn retreat for Hong Kong leavers and Friends. Everyone welcome!
Join us for a deeply restorative three-day retreat in the peaceful surroundings of the historic Ampleforth Abbey, nestled within the rolling countryside of Northern England.
This retreat is an invitation to pause, breathe, and gently reconnect with yourself during a time of transition and change. Whether you are newly arrived, preparing for a new chapter, or simply longing for rest and meaningful connection, these days together offer space to slow down and feel supported in community.
Stepping away from the routines and demands of daily life allows the nervous system to soften and reset. Time spent outdoors, practicing, resting, sharing meals, and moving together over several days can bring a deep sense of grounding, clarity, belonging, and renewal.
Surrounded by nature, we will walk, practice, sing, rest, reflect, and gather in a warm and welcoming community. Through gentle movement, stillness, and shared experience, we create space for healing, reconnection, calm and uplift.
Our retreat will include:
Yoga for strength, mobility, and inner peace
Grounding and nourishing Hatha Yoga
Eight Brocades (Qi Gong) for healing and wellness
Singing bowls to calm mind and body
Yoga Nidra & Sound Healing for deep relaxation
Outdoor nature connection practices
Community sharing circles to be heard and held
Simple healthy shared meals
Time to rest, walk, reflect, and simply be
No yoga experience is needed. All practices are gentle, accessible, and open to everybody. Men and women warmly welcome.
